“And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty.”  [22:78]
“Life is a beautiful struggle”
Everyday is a struggle, every single day but with struggles comes insurmountable blessings- blessings after blessings. This life is hard but the reward is greater.

There are so many things I have learned in my maternal health class, but probably the biggest thing ever, is how hard it is to get pregnant, have a healthy baby, healthy pregnancy and healthy mother after birth YET there are millions of people every day having kids and everything being a-okay. We have six kids in my family, my mother is one of seven, my grandmother is one of eleven, and not one of the pregnancies had any severe complications, and we were all pretty healthy babies, pretty fat too. I know it is not good luck but just a blessing easily disguised. If you have healthy babies or were a healthy baby, realize what you came from and the HUNDREDS of things that could of gone wrong, that didn’t. You are special :)

Pain is an unavoidable emotion. Praying and always calling out to Allah does not mean that we won’t ever experience pain or will be able to avoid it or will become strong enough to never feel it, but having Allah and constantly calling out to him makes that pain much, much more bearable and over time, you watch yourself grow to become that much stronger, that much more patient. ”Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity…” [2:286]

‎”There are times in life we need to grow, need to become better and stronger people. It is during those times that we find ourselves smothered in darkness, feeling hurt and disconnected. We may feel like we are covered in layers upon layers of dirt, not knowing how to take a breath, and we just want to reach the surface and break through to the light. But we know that in order to do that, we are going to work really hard, and at times it may hurt beyond belief. It is at these times that we often get frustrated and confused with what God is putting us through. We may begin to question why God would even allow this to happen or why He isn’t helping us in the way that we are asking. And no matter how hard we think, we just cannot see the wisdom in being locked in layers of darkness, struggling to reach the top. It is at this moment that we need to stop, take a step back and learn from nature. Stop and imagine what would happen to the seed if it simply stopped trying because it was too tired to push through and struggle to the top. Imagine what would happen to a butterfly if, after being wrapped in its cocoon for so long, it decided to stop pushing its way out and spread its wings. Imagine what would happen to a baby chick if it stopped pecking its way through the egg to make it to the world where chicks become chickens.” -Reehab Ramadan
